雲錦 Unkin: Known as cloud brocade, refers to overglaze enamels depicting sakura (cherry blossoms) and momiji (maple leaves), which are two seasonal symbols beloved by Japanese. They are symbols of spring and autumn respectively. The design of the cherry blossoms as clouds and the maple leaves as brocade is what gives it its name.
