In August 2020, the Palais de Tokyo organized an exhibition around the twenty-fifth anniversary of La Haine, a cult film for a whole generation that greatly inspired JR. The artist intervened on the facade, using a trompe-l'oeil to introduce a typical Parisian suburban architecture at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
