About the series:
The photographs are documentations of the geometric street interventions the Rhea Karam has painted and placed onto corners of walls and buildings around New York City, emphasizing the lines where two spatial planes come together.

About the artist:
Born in Beirut, and working New York - Rhea Karam's work focuses on deconstructing the urban landscape with an emphasis on public walls and the role they play in our daily lives. The enriching dialogue created around and upon walls allow her to explore various themes such as history, displacement, identity, communication, architecture and the environment. Although mainly photographic, her practice also includes painting, silkscreen, wheat pasting and a particular appreciation for creating unique, limited edition artist books.

Public Collections include: The Museum of Modern Art, The Museum of Fine Arts Houston, The Center for Book Arts, The Ampersand Foundation, Yale University Library, VCU Library, and The Brookfield Collection.
