With more than 150 stunning images, including photography by Jason Schmidt, together with an introduction by Bob Colacello and features by The New York Times and Architectural Digest contributor Pilar Viladas and The Art Newspaper art critic Linda Yablonsky, this comprehensive book details the Foundation’s galleries while highlighting exhibitions from its inaugural two seasons.
Peter Marino Art Foundation exhibits more than 200 artworks from The Peter Marino Collection including paintings, sculpture, drawings, photography and ceramics from 3500 BC to the present day. Curated by Peter Marino, the exhibition shows a variety of mediums from a collection that Mr. Marino has been developing for more than 40 years.
Peter Marino Art Foundation brings new life to the former Rogers Memorial Library at 11 Jobs Lane in Southampton, NY, transforming the late 19th century landmarked building into a distinctive space for viewing contemporary and modern art and furniture, Old Master paintings, Egyptian, Greek, and Roman antiquities, Renaissance and Baroque Bronzes, 20th century photography, French ceramics, rare books and Old Master drawings.
Mr. Marino purchased the building in 2018 and took nearly three years restoring the historical façade and redesigning the interior spaces. More than 8,000 square feet of exhibition spaces are spread over two levels of the converted building.
Peter Marino Art Foundation opened to the public in June 2021 and is a private foundation.
