In Strangers Welcome, Johan Creten shares works from his exhibition Le coeur qui déborde. The exhibition ran from June 10 to October 1, 2023 at the Abbaye de Beaulieu-en-Rouergue in the Tarn-et-Garonne region of southern France. Creten's works are installed in various parts of the Abbey, allowing the artist to combine his contemporary sculptures with an architectural stroll. Golden bas-reliefs of enigmatic power inhabit the Cellier. Monumental seahorses and a floral triptych are housed in the imposing nave. This book takes us on a journey through the poetic works of Johan Creten.
