Brushstroke-ac Bronze by celebrated artist Lee Bae translates the artist's gestural language into bronze.
The Korean-born artist composed an original model to create this limited series, cast in bronze using a traditional lost-wax technique. Each sculpture is carefully patinated and brushed, revealing the depth of the material and subtle nuances of its surface.
Lee Bae's practice blurs the lines between drawing, painting, sculpture and installation. This limited edition series of 18 pieces continues the artist’s exploration of the color black, material, and gesture.
Each Brushstroke-ac Bronze is signed and numbered by engraving, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist.
